RECIPES:

Sausage peppers and pasta....1 lb sausage browned, 8 oz of pasta cooked, 1 to 2 peppers cut and cooked with sausage, 1 can tomatoes, cheese. Cook everything and dump together and warm to 10 min or until the cheese is melted.

RECIPES:

Pepperoni pizza....2 jars of pizza sauce, 1 can tomato soup, 1 1/2 lbs browned hamburger, 8 oz of pasta (cooked), 16 oz shredded mozzarella cheese, 8 oz of pepperonis

mix together sauce and soup, set aside. Alternate layers in slow cooker, using half each of beef, pasta, cheese, sauce mixture and pepperonis. Repeat layers. cover and cook on low for 4 hours. Serves 6.

RECIPES:

Cheddar Chicken and Potatoes
4 slices bacon, 4 chicken breast, 4 cups frozen diced potatoes with peppers and onions...thawed.

Cook bacon remove, add chicken cook 5 mins each side, remove. Crumble bacon, add bacon and potatoes cook 5 mins. add chicken top with cheese.

RECIPES:

Chicken fried pork chops....I use chicken instead of chops...but both are good!
1/2 cup flour, 3/4 tsp salt, 1 1/2 tsp dry mustard, 3/4 tsp garlic powder, 2 TBSP oil, 6 pork chops or 3 to 4 chicken breasts, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 soup can of water. Combine flour, salt, dry mustard and garlic powder, dredge pork chops or chicken in flour mixture. Brown in oil in skillet. place in slow cooker. combine soup and water pour over meat. cover and cook high 6 hours. ***If using chicken I don't do the flour mixture, I just place them in the slow cooker. I will sometimes double the soup and water and add frozen noodles to it 2 hours before serving. We use this as a gravy over mashed potatoes.

Jello salad....2 boxes of orange jello, 1 can pineapple tidbits juices reserved, 1 can mandarin oranges juices reserved. boil 2 cups of water add jello, stir. use juices from pineapple and oranges as the cold water. stir place in fridge and chill one hour and then add the fruit. place back in fridge until set.

RECIPES:

Ham and Potato Casserole:

2 cups cooked cubed ham
1 package of frozen peas or peas and carrots
2 Tbsp of flour
2 Tbsp of butter
1 cup milk
4 to 5 potatoes cooked and mashed
cheese

in casserole dish mix ham and veggies together.
melt butter in a sauce pan, stir in flour, add milk, whisk until think like gravy, pour over ham and veggies. add salt and pepper to taste. Top with mashed potatoes and cheese. Bake 350 45 min.


Beef Enchiladas:

1 lb ground hamburger
10 10in tortilla shells
grated cheese
salsa
1 can cream chicken soup
1 can green chilies
12oz sour cream

brown meat with onion, drain. fill shells with 1/2cup meat, 1/4cup cheese 2 Tbsp salsa, roll shells and lay seam side down in 9x13 greased pan. In sauce pan warm soup, sour cream, and chilies and pour over enchiladas. Top with cheese. bake 350 30min

Last week was kinda crazy here in the Saner household...and we didn't get to all the meals we had planned, so we are using some for this week.

TUESDAY: Chicken and pasta casserole, green beans....not sure what I am having, but I will be using these 2 things.

WEDNESDAY: Waffles, sausage links(on sale this week) mixed fruit

FRIDAY: Friday night movie night!! Homemade pizza, jello jigglers

SATURDAY: clean out

SUNDAY: Abry's sandwiches, french fries, fruit salad, lettuce salad


RECIPES:

Arby's sandwiches...hamburger buns, swiss cheese (or any other kind of cheese you like) thin sliced ham...open hamburger buns face up on baking sheet, top with cheese, and how ever much ham you want. Bake in oven until ham is warm and cheese is melted. Place the top on it and eat!!

THURSDAY: Italian beef hoagies(arm roast on sale this week), chips, lettuce salad, Jello salad

FRIDAY: Friday night movie night....means my kiddos get to eat in the living room. Finger foods and appetizers

SATURDAY: Cleaning out

SUNDAY: Hamburgers, brown beans AKA pork-n-beans, lettuce salad


RECIPES:

Meatballs....1 1/2 lbs hamburger, 1 1/4 cup Italian seasoned dry bread crumbs, 2 garlic cloves minced, 1 onion chopped, 1 egg beaten, 28oz jar spaghetti sauce, 16oz can crushed tomatoes, 14 1/4oz can tomato puree. Combine all ingredients except spaghetti sauce and the 2 cans of tomatoes. Mix by hand and form into 16 balls; set aside. In slow cooker stir together spaghetti sauce and 2 can tomatoes, add meatballs to sauce, turn to coat. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours.

Cheesy Potatoes....2 lb bag hash browns, 1 stick of melted butter, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, 12oz sour cream, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 cup milk, 2 cup grated cheese, 2 TBS minced onion. Mix all together except hash browns. add hash browns and mix well. pour into 9*13 pan bake 350 45min...I make this all but put into 8*8 pan, freeze the other half into 8*8 pan.

Fruit Salad....1 can Mandarin Oranges,drained, 1 can pineapple,drained, grapes cut in half, strawberries cut up, 1 can Apple pie filling. Combine all together and refrigerate 2 hours

Sausage and Pasta....1/2 yellow onion chopped, 1 garlic clove minced, 1 TBS olive oil, 1 lb sausage browned, 28oz can stewed tomatoes drained, 1 1/2 red and yellow pepper, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper to taste, cooked rotini pasta
In skillet cook onion and garlic clove in oil, add sausage, cook until done and drain. this can be done the night or day before...Transfer mix to crock pot and add the remaining ingredients cook 2 1/2 to 3hours on high or until peppers are tender. serve over pasta.

Italian beef hoagies....3-4lbs beef chuck roast(I used arm roast), 2 .6oz packages zesty Italian salad dry dressing mix, 2 cups water, 15-18 hoagie rolls split and toasted. Slice roast into 4 pieces and trim off fat. place in bottom of crock pot. Mix dressing and water; pour over roast. cover and cook 8-10 hours. serve roast on toasted hoagie buns, top with cheese.

Jello salad...2 packages of jello, 1 tub cool whip. Make jello as directed on the box. when set up fold in cool whip.

SUNDAY: Rogers Birthday...His pick is BBQ Buffalo wings (recipe below), Mashed potatoes, Strawberry salad (recipe below).


RECIPES:

Runzas....2 Frozen bread dough thawed. 1 to 1 1/2 lbs browned hamburger, small can sour kraut, shredded cheese. Mix together hamburger, sour kraut, and cheese. Pull off a ball of dough roll out and add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of hamburger mix. fold dough over and seal together. place on cookie sheet, bake 350 20 min.


Buffalo Wings....1 to 5 lb bag of frozen chicken wings or small legs. 2 bottles Franks hot sauce or substitute. 1/2 lb butter. 1 tsp crushed oregano. 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce. 1 Tablespoon minced onion. Mix all the ingredients except chicken in saucepan and simmer 20 min. Bake chicken at 425 until crispy. put wings in large bowl and pour sauce over the wings. put on bake sheet and cook 300 for 15-20min Also works to put them in crock pot and cook a couple hours.

Strawberry Salad....1 cottage cheese, strawberry jello, cool whip, and strawberries. Mix all together, and refrigerate for 2 hours.
